Having spent the early 90s knocking around NYC drumming for indie bands > The Spectres, The Honkies, Love Button, and Wheelie, KAO took up some tech jobs about Wall Street to pay the bills. KAO conceived the project The Bankables to get back to the music and channel the vagaries of relationships and employment in and around Manhattan.
Guitars, amps, and a 16 track recorder were acquired. Soon original material emerged. As most friends and former band mates continued with life's other plans, KAO took to completing an album alone. Here's what was recorded in a Living room in 07030 Summer 2006. Here's to independent studios- the next wave of the DIY movement, The Bankables.
